Our Service
Starting early in the conflict, we find CPL Elisha Stetson at Dorchester Heights (pictured above). Here in 1775, the Continental Army drove the British out of Boston, never to return. The event is still celebrated in Boston on March 19 as Evacuation Day. Job Sylvester served as one of (he rotated them as a pre-caution) Gen. Washington's Bodyguards. Job Sylvester Jr saw service in the War of 1812. Later, many Sylvester's served in WWI, WWII, Korea & Vietnam. Most recently, Daniel J Sullivan IV served in the Iraqi Freedom conflict. SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY persists.
